This is an SDET testing role focused on building out test automation and processes to ensure the quality of Broadridge internally written applications. The ideal candidate will aid with the current transition off manual testing and over to automated testing. Are you seeking a challenging opportunity where you can make a difference? This is a hybrid role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings. Responsibilities Define test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation. Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency. Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the sophisticated ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms. Develop and maintain manual and automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability. Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to resolve root cause of failure. Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform. Develop and execute manual test cases. Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible. Supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process. Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best standard practices. Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests. Support QA Tools and activities as needed. Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and timelines. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a software developer, QA Engineer, or SDET. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium Java. 4+ years crafting, implementing, and running test cases. 4+ years working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology. 4+ years performing functional and UI testing, quality reporting. Passion around driving best practices in the testing space. Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches. Experience building or improving test automation frameworks. Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools. Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD) using Cucumber/Jbehave. Experience using JIRA, ALM, Xray or any relevant Test management tool. Should be able to work in an Agile environment and capable of delivering test automation in sprint. Experience developing utilities using Java, Python or any scripting languages. Ability to quickly fix and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical partners. Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality. Willingness to take challenges head on while being part of a team-BMM. Preferred: 3+ years financial/brokerage services experience. Experience on Linux/Unix platforms a plus. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification. Project management in brokerage or IT environment. Interaction with external customers. Experience working with Splunk. ADA (Accessibility) Testing. PowerBI and/or Tableau. Skills/Competencies Solid communication (written/ oral) skills. Consistent record in delivering high quality applications. Positive working attitude, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Proven project management skills and team oriented. Goal/results oriented, focused with moderate negotiating skills. The salary range for this position is between $95,000-$100,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
