As a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) Lead in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you'll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better. The primary function of the Salesforce COE Lead is to establish sustainable, effective strategies and processes for the Salesforce COE including financial and performance management that enables business change to support initiatives critical for organizational success. The lead ensures that appropriate project management policies, procedures and standards are established and communicated throughout the organization. The lead is responsible for improving the maturity of the portfolio, financial and performance management processes in the organization to improve the maturity of the COE. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning Develop and Own Annual Roadmap: Craft and manage the annual roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals. Key Milestones and Dependencies: Establish and communicate key release milestones and dependencies. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for the annual roadmap. Monitor Roadmap Accuracy: Continuously monitor and manage changes to the roadmap to maintain its accuracy and relevance. Compliance Adherence: Ensure the COE adheres to compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures. Pre-Release Planning Communicate Key Dates: Communicate important dates and dependencies to involved parties, ensuring alignment across systems. Budget Confirmation: Obtain financial information and confirm the appropriate budget is in place. Risk and Issue Management: Manage issues, risks, and decision-making within an effective timeframe to achieve desired outcomes across all Product and Integration Teams. Release Execution Monitor Progress: Conduct weekly demand and ecosystem calls to discuss overall release timelines and monitor progress. Timely Approval of Deliverables: Ensure all release deliverables are approved in a timely manner. Financial Management During Releases: Proactively work with Domain Portfolio Managers and Project Managers to approve invoices, review IT Statements of Work, and track invoices against third-party Purchase Orders. Drive Production Deployments: Lead production deployment activities across the COE and with integration partners. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree + 8 years' experience, Masters plus 7 years of experience or PHD plus 3 years' experience. Experienced in strategic planning and critical thinking. 3+ years of work experience including IT project portfolio, program, financial and performance management. Ability to prepare and present executive level presentations, communicate, and persuade Business and IT executives. PPM (Clarity) tool experience. Excellent written and oral English communication skills. Experience with agile delivery model and tools including Jira and Confluence Experience in Salesforce program delivery including custom development and managed package implementations.
