Description The Regional Global Practice Manager is responsible for the strategic development and overall leadership of a Regional Global Practice. This position will be responsible for the growth of Global Practice market segments in a profitable manner. The Regional Global Practice Manager will lead the business line in a dynamic and profitable manner based on Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service. Responsible for the sales, revenue and income goals for the Global Practice. Develops a long-term strategic plan. Identifies, develops and directs the implementation of business strategies for the practice, including operational strategies and procedures, marketing strategies and pricing strategies, and sales and customer retention strategies. Provide industry expertise with respect to the competition. Achieves stated targets and standards for financial performance. Present monthly financial information to leadership including schedules and budget forecasts. Responsible for ensuring alignment and support of Regional Office staff development, quality control and resource coordination. Recruits, hires, develops and retains outstanding employee-owners. Responsible for conducting performance evaluation for selected department or direct reports. Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes and goals of the organization to Department Managers. Executes projects by meeting or exceeding client expectations for quality, schedule and budget. Plans, coordinates, communicates and facilitates activities of several disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion. Successful completion of projects by collaborating and coordinating with internal and external clients. Initiates and directs proposal development and contract negotiations; they are responsible for coordinating project planning including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, communicating and managing deadlines and establishing and performing to critical project objectives. Ensures quality and safety standards. Adheres to Burns & McDonnell Quality Control program. Responsible for maintaining Burns & McDonnell Safety program. Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies. Responsible for diversity initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years relevant consulting experience, preferably in the consulting engineering industry or project management. Required Expert experience in client and business development. Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination. Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects. Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage. Excellent planning and analytical skills. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients. Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent. Compensation $145,000.00-535,000.00 Annually The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
