Job Details Responsibilities Program systems based on machine specifications, project scope and/or interactions with team members. Program safe and effective industrial control systems based on a thorough analysis of requirements. Including electrical & pneumatic drawings, bill of material, PLC & HMI design. Execute systematic procedures to insure that the control systems are operating as designed. Add direction, as appropriate, to ensure that debug and test phases of the project run smoothly. Interact and cooperate with other team members to ensure project schedules and budgets are maintained. Work with and manage controls outsource vendors. Maintain sufficient scope, schedule, and costs. Assist in project quotations pertaining to the controls functionality, required equipment, and employee/vendor resources. Maintain a professional presence when traveling to a customer facility during install and startup. Adhere to all safety, production and quality guidelines during install/startup of assigned project at customer's facility. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2-10 years experience in industrial automation, electro-mechanical and controls. Must be able to organize work, prioritize tasks, maintain multiple projects and meet established deadlines. Effectively collaborate with mechanical engineers in the development of automated systems Must have strong working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have experience in programming PLC based. Experience in programming and commissioning motion control systems including servos. Yaskawa experience is a plus. Experience in debugging and testing electro-mechanical systems and controls. Experience in configuring HMIs for discrete manufacturing equipment. Interested in hearing more?
