Position Title: Compensation Assistant Requsition #: 24587 Department: Human Resources Title of Manager: Compensation Manager Supervises: Non-supervisory position Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Pay and Benefits: Estimated hiring range $51,800 - $63,320 /year, 5% bonus target, full benefits. Posting Notes: Posting Notes: This is a fully remote position, but you must reside in Oregon or SW Washington. This is a contingent position that is estimated to last 6 months. Job Summary This position is responsible for providing operational support for job and compensation activity for the organization. Core work includes tracking, maintaining, and documenting job and pay information in multiple systems and spreadsheets. This position maintains the organization's position description library. Work involves strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration. Essential Responsibilities Job Information Tracking Maintain the job evaluation queue; provide information to managers on the job review process. Assist Compensation Analysts in reviewing position description updates and drafting memos. Maintain and update job classification data, including job codes, titles, and exemption status; liaise with other HR teams to ensure appropriate HR systems are updated. Maintain and update the position description library as jobs are created, updated, and inactivated. Position Management Support Maintain, update, and communicate position control numbers in support of job evaluations and position approval notifications. Research and help resolve position number questions with Finance, Recruitment, and Payroll. Run routine job posting reports to help ensure accurate position numbers are assigned. Documentation Prepare documentation for pay reviews and job offers. Assist in submitting internal pay data to 3rd party survey vendors. Assist in preparing memos and other materials for annual compensation review. Coordinate with HR Assistant in updating employee files. Other Operational Assistance Save, review, and format system generated reports; liaise with HRIS Administrator. Coordinate with HR and marketing staff in updating content on HR's intranet site and other areas. Particpiate in department projects and initiatives.
