Daily Job Duties: Perform preventive maintenance and monitoring activities on equipment such as air handlers, HVAC systems, boilers chillers, air compressors, exhaust fans, etc. Records meter and gauge readings Cleans filters and lubricates motors Replaces belts, filters, switches, gauges, etc. Assist skilled HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, or other higher level maintenance staff in performing maintenance, repair, and construction activities. Perform routine maintenance plumbing work on PVC and copper systems, such as, replacing valves and seals, and repairing water line leaks Requirements Required Working Knowledge: At least 1 year in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred (new HVAC grads are encouraged to apply!) Standard tools/practices of various trades such as mechanical, electrical and plumbing Perform semi-skilled and skilled work in a variety of mechanical and building trades Understanding and ability to carry out oral and written instructions Occupation I hazards and safety precautions of the mechanical and building trades Assessment of work requirements, follow all safety precautions, and to complete jobs safely Education: High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of semi-skilled experience in general maintenance work Post-secondary training in an accredited vocational-training school in one of the building, mechanical, or electrical trades may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience #ZR IND123 Location(s) 50 Old Webster Road, Oxford, Massachusetts 01540 Employment Type Non-Exempt
