CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Develop and execute objective-enabling global supply chain strategies for 2 PCG business units and the Global Supply Chain sites supporting them. Continuously harmonize business unit strategies with Global Supply Chain strategies and tactics and maintain balanced service, working capital, and efficiency strategies in accordance with BU requirements Directly lead the North America Master Scheduler Managers and Demand Managers supporting in-scope sites. Directly manage rough-cut capacity planning for NA sites. Guide (not directly supervise) regional supply planning teams in EMEAI, LATAM, and APAC supporting the same 2 BUs to ensure that global supply chain strategy is properly executed. Support cross functional issues and develop aligned strategies to mitigate short term and long term global supply risks. Serve as the single point of accountability to BU leadership for Demand Planning, collaboration across multiple regions regarding supply plan. Develop relationships across regions with functional Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to support Coil and Packaging Global strategies. Report and align strategies to the BU executive teams. Support Implementation of comprehensive standardized metrics, establish relevant targets, and prioritize achievement based on Global Supply Chain and BU requirements Initiate and facilitate recruitment and hiring of professional level employees. . They will manage, train, coach, and develop team members to support the business units within Sherwin-Williams. . Includes but not limited to identifying career paths within Global Supply Chain by supporting their development plans to expand skills, drive engagement, and secure succession plans for key positions. Partner with Operations and Sourcing to evolve supply chain Supply capability and address and gaps in achieving goals. Drive and support activities as it relates to optimal Supply Chain Systems, Tools, and Processes. . Also, responsible to leverage the work completed in the NA Supply Chain Center of Excellence beyond North America Support Integrated Business Planning processes for both BUs owning domestic planning and supporting global processes with a focus on alignment and optimization. POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INFORMATION PROVIDED BELOW WILL BE USED IN THE JOB POSTING PROCESS) FORMAL EDUCATION: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED) Required: Bachelor's Degree or 16 years of Supply Chain Experience Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry or Logistics MBA and / or APICS certification Six Sigma / Lean certification of Green belt or higher KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 10 or more years of experience in the Supply Chain field 5 or more years in a manager or supervisory capacity Preferred: Six Sigma, Lean and Continuous Improvement experience TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects, concurrently. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred: Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.
