Description Associate Program Manager Utility Program Services Location: Columbia, MD (Remote - Home Office with Local Office Travel) Are you ready to make a difference? To support our growth, ICF is seeking an Associate Program Manager to provide program support for our utility program team in the Maryland area. In this position you will work closely with program and portfolio managers to coordinate the successful delivery of the residential energy efficiency programs in Maryland area. You will support a variety of program delivery tasks including managing progress reports, data analysis, application review, forecasting, researching program enhancements, and client engagement. In this role you will also oversee the organization and evaluation of program processes; identification and engagement with key stakeholders and team members particularly in the distributor and retailer supply chains; and coordinate with a team of energy efficiency experts. This position will need to effectively interface with staff and clients locally in Maryland area. What you will be doing: Coordinate with internal staff on projects including, but not limited to, internal portfolio reviews, and working with internal program leads to provide regular program status updates. Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, distributors, and other stakeholders to drive participation in energy efficiency programs. Collaborate with a multi-functional project team comprised of technical and marketing specialists (including ICF internal staff and subcontractors) to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve specific program goals and objectives. Monitor regulated performance metrics and work with project managers and regional support staff on any necessary adjustments to filed utility plans. Review and edit deliverables to client including, but not limited to, monthly progress reports, quarterly presentations, and semi-annual regulatory reports. Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking Support various internal staff with data management and analysis Handle and track issues brought by subcontractors, customers, and customer service representatives Complete invoicing tasks and ensure payments are submitted in a timely manner What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): Bachelor's degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each of year education) 3+ years' experience in energy efficiency, program implementation, or professional work experience (related fields preferred) What we would like you to have: Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Energy-related or continuous improvement professional certifications (BPI, RESNET, CEM, Six Sigma, etc.) Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Proficiency in developing and/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (i.e., customer relationship management (CRM)efforts). Experience selling and managing accounts related to any of the following equipment supply chains: HVAC, lighting, residential appliances, or water heating.(Preferred) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining multiple deadlines. Strong analytical, detailed problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Ability to take direction and work independently towards final results. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
