Job Description Drive and support the digitalization and innovation strategy for DSC North America by leading deployments and becoming a subject matter expert in key technologies. This role requires extensive travel to DSC facilities, working with Operations on continuous improvement initiatives, and providing expert guidance on digitalization efforts. Collaborate closely with business unit and global leaders to assess and develop strategic projects for deploying emerging technologies. Oversee the development of tools and documentation to ensure scalable technology adoption. Offer recommendations on vendor capabilities to leadership and guide business unit Innovation managers, leads, and operations in vendor technology and project management. Collaborate with vendors to enhance solutions and integrate them with strategic systems. Responsibilities Subject Matter Expertise: Offer expert support and direction, encompassing processes, tools, facilitation, and challenge, to advance our digitalization agenda and ensure its successful execution. Vendor Collaboration : Collaborate closely with vendors to gain an in-depth understanding of technology capabilities, enhancing our solutions, providing valuable business insights, and seamlessly integrating with our strategic systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sector, functional, and global heads and VPs, contributing a strategic and innovative perspective. Provide assistance in delivering digitalization initiatives that elevate our organization's capabilities. Strategic Project Support: As the subject matter expert (SME) support strategic projects geared towards deploying technologies within our DSC businesses; identify opportunities for technological advancement. Technology Oversight: Oversee the development of tools and documentation that facilitate the seamless adoption of technology within the operations to drive operational scalability across the North American region. Global Alignment: Ensure alignment on critical strategic initiatives across the global organization, fostering cohesive progress towards shared goals. Leadership Insights: Offer recommendations to senior leadership concerning vendor and technology capabilities, guiding informed decision-making. Business Unit Innovation Guidance: Provide guidance to Business Unit Innovation leadership on vendor technology, assessments, and effective project management strategies Leads and directs others in the organization in support of Accelerated Digitalization strategic objectives. Required Education and Experience Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics Discipline, required Master's Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Administration, preferred Education and/or certification in LEAN, Six Sig, preferred 5-10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering/Solutions Design/Consulting in the supply chain industry, required 5+ years of progressive experience in at least one of the following: Project management and implementation, operations management, or organization design and implementation, required Experience as a management consultant or working in a strategic role in supply chain function, preferred Our Organization has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.
