Maintenance Technician

You'll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. Responsibilities: • Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks • Mechanically inclined with experience in building maintenance and repair duties • Minor plumbing, electrical, repairs, and painting • HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance • Routine walk-throughs and inspections of commercial properties • Light carpentry • Ability to work with a range of powered and non-powered hand tools • Responding to service calls from tenants • Compensated on-call rotations for after-hours requests • Meeting and coordinating vendors Qualifications: • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • 2+ years of maintenance experience • Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a government background check • General working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Mechanically inclined with experience in building maintenance and repair duties Compensation: $25 - $29 hourly depending on experience + Benefits • Mechanically inclined with experience in building maintenance and repair duties • Minor plumbing, electrical, repairs, and painting • HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance • Routine walk-throughs and inspections of commercial properties • Light carpentry • Ability to work with a range of powered and non-powered hand tools • Responding to service calls from tenants • Compensated on-call rotations for after-hours requests • Meeting and coordinating vendors
