Title: Maintenance Technician I Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Holland, MI Technicians: Starting pay ranging from $23 to $28 per hour Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are paid 100% by LG Energy Solution! Summary This position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. May also be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedule Keep the records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents of daily report and check sheets Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience Journeyman's certificate preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience Experience: Entry level Experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent relevant experience required PLC experience preferred Understanding of production and processing equipment Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Skills: Microsoft Office Critical thinking Troubleshooting Problem solving Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Latex gloves Nitrile gloves Respirator Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Stoop, twist, bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand Benefits Overview: 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision premium for you and your family 100% employer-paid disability and life insurance Employer supported childcare/babysitting programs Generous Paid Time Off / Holidays Opportunity to grow in diverse work environment with a global company 401k Retirement savings and planning with generous company match LGESMI is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
