Job Title: Help Desk Support Representative (Healthcare Focus)- 2 positions open! Location: Remote - Michigan Resident (candidate must live in State of MI) Compensation: $18 per hour Shift Hours: Training: First 4 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Post-Training: Shift start times TBD, likely between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Workdays: May include either Saturday or Sunday as part of the 5-day schedule. Start Date: ASAP Overview: We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Representative to provide technical support to users across a variety of platforms, devices, and software systems, with a focus on healthcare-related technologies. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. This role supports various technologies, including desktops, virtual machines, mobile devices, and medical equipment integration (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors). The position requires working remotely, handling escalations, and contributing to service excellence through effective communication and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, virtual machines, desk phones, tablets, printers, mobile phones, wired/wireless networks, VPNs, webcams, and dictation hardware. Troubleshoot integrated medical devices, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and anesthesia machines. Safeguard system security by following established protocols to prevent unauthorized access. Diagnose, research, and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution. Mentor Service Desk Associates and new team members, ensuring service quality is maintained. Assist with testing and integrating new technologies and workflows within the team. Identify and respond to trends using Service Desk collaboration tools and cross-team communication. Qualifications & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of recent experience in a Help Desk or Service Desk role in a healthcare setting If not from a Help Desk background, candidates must have customer-facing IT support experience. Expertise in supporting Epic, Microsoft systems (Windows, Office), VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Prior experience in customer service (e.g., retail, food service) is a plus.
