Assistant Controller

Vaco is recruiting for an Assistant Controller in the logistic industry, right here in Phoenix. Responsibilities include: Managing the month-end closing process and reconciliations Supervise and mentor accounting and other staff Evaluating close process and improving days to close Developing improved processes and controls Managing monthly accounting cycle in a high volume environment   Minimum requirements: 5 or more years of experience in accounting 3 or more years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control structures Ability to grow into a Controller position BS or BA in Accounting   What you'll get: Collaborative onsite with flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
