Accounting Manager

We are recruiting an Accounting Manager for a company here in the Raleigh area.  In this role, you will play a key role in month end close, overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy  of the results reported.   Salary to $125K plus bonus and a nice work balance.  This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.  You and your team will also be tasked with several account reconciliations Execute the month end close ensuring the accuracy of the data.  Gaining an understanding of the results in order to present them and any specific variances to management. Responsible for some Technical accounting research and documentation as the business initiatives dictate Maintain current Internal Controls and provide recommendations when opportunities arise Act as the point person related to sharing financial results with Operations and other functional areas, responding to any questions from other non-Finance groups  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA  and Public is highly preferred.  Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software Must have experience working with a large ERP system and advanced excel experience Proven ability to manage and mentor a growing team. -
