Join our Crisis Services Team at Bridgeway Inc.! Be the key to someone's success by supporting and navigating them through life's challenges. As a Crisis Counselor you provide case management and/or counseling services in a four county area, to youth and their families who exhibit mental health crisis or serve emotional and behavioral problems. Services are intended to assess the appropriate level of mental health care for children and adolescents, and provide comprehensive community care through direct services and/or linkages to the least restrictive resources. To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties below. Provides direct crisis intervention services, including after-hours coverage to all persons in the organization service area (Knox, Warren, Henderson, Henry Counties) on a timely basis. Consults with Physicians when providing crisis intervention in a medical setting. Consults with peers or psychiatrist when screening clinically complex cases in non-medical settings. Provides case coordination services to families applying for or receiving the Individual Care Grant as assigned. Provides critical incident response services to the community at large: schools, businesses etc. Provides training to staff, community groups, or other parties on crisis interventions related topics. Our minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field will be considered. Master's degree is preferred. Prior experience with crisis counseling and intervention services is also preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have reliable transportation.
