Job Number: R Strategic Business Development Leader Key Role: Work as a business development executive to identify, qualify, and prosecute growth opportunities within the DoD. Focus on expanding the out-year pipeline and developing whitespace opportunities through active deal development, identification, and qualification efforts to create growth potential for the firm in new capability or client sets. Apply expertise in leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices to position the firm for long-term initiatives that improve overall financial performance. Compete in both incumbent and non-incumbent workstreams, think critically, and strengthen the competitive posture of the firm strategically. Build and maintain excellent industry relationships, including competitors, niche capability firms, small businesses, and select client relationships to gather intelligence and enhance the firm's position across a portfolio of efforts. Lead and facilitate the development, delivery, and presentation of whitepapers and drive technical and acquisition client call plans and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform pursue or no pursuit decisions. Develop, qualify, and prosecute a growing pipeline of opportunities to win work and generate revenue and profit in accordance with defined business targets. Basic Qualifications: Experience in the DoD industry, including professional services and solutions and business development through the entire business development life cycle Experience in engaging with C-suite level executives to drive business growth Ability to demonstrate positive client relationships and a record of success in leveraging these relationships for opportunity wins Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and lead without oversight responsibly Ability to work as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization where a collaborative and team-centric culture are paramount for success Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: Experience with project management Possession of excellent analytical skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Secret clearance preferred Master's degree preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
