Senior Vice President, IT Delivery Services CSBS Corporate, 1300 I Street NW, Washington, District Of Columbia, United States of America Req #254 Overview The Senior Vice President, IT Delivery Services (SVP), working at the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), provides leadership and manages delivery across complex technology initiatives with multi-disciplinary teams and cross business unit interactions. As a member of the Senior IT Leadership Team, the SVP will help develop, execute, and oversee the short-term and long-term IT Strategy to align with the organization's strategic priorities, business needs, and outcomes. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, planning, project and process management, operations and execution with exceptional communication capabilities and judgement. Responsibilities The SVP will have top-down overall oversight throughout the entire delivery execution, from design to deployment and support efforts. This role will proactively manage associated risk, dependencies, and remove blockers through the project/project life cycle to ensure seamless delivery. The SVP must understand project management, application development, infrastructure, data management and governance, information security, quality assurance, and enterprise architecture and collaboratively work with the various teams for planning and implementation. The SVP will mentor delivery teams on best practices and provide integrated support for the delivery teams and drive implementation success of products, applications, and systems for CSBS. The SVP also has management and oversight of project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance. Member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) - Collaborate to ensure priorities and resources are aligned to successfully implement CSBS strategies. Connects across business units to eliminate siloed thinking and enables cross-functional engagement. Serves as an effective communicator up-down-across within IT and other business units. Work closely with the CIO to set strategic and tactical direction for the IT business unit. Assess and provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and management regarding technical status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities. Ensure that IT achieves and maintains a high standard of effectiveness, both in terms of strategy and delivery. Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand requirements, goals, and success measures. Continually mature and optimize IT governance and decision-making processes. Develop strategies, manage, and track activities to integrate cross-team efforts. Contributes to the maturity of the CSBS delivery lifecycles. Drive improved communication and collaboration across all delivery team functional areas. Establish core delivery practices to increase effectiveness. Oversee budget tracking for IT projects and supporting platform and software costs. Maintain current knowledge of existing vendor roadmaps, new productivity tools releases, and features. Define metrics and analyze data to develop technology delivery optimization strategies. Oversee the maintenance of team documentation for knowledge sharing. Establish and ensure compliance with IT vendor management policies and processes. Manage technology contracts for IT services, licenses, renewals, and other needs. People Manager - Lead and engage staff to maximize organizational performance. Mentors and support staff in career development. Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience required. Education and Experience B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent required. At least 15 years of program and project management experience, with at least 10 years managing complex system integration programs. Previous experience in a leadership position, including mentoring and managing schedules and deliverables. Strong presentation and customer-facing skills. Work experience with Government Regulatory, Self-Regulatory Agencies preferred. Work experience in support of a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong cost estimation and financial management skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated relationship building and leadership skills.
