Description General Summary The Product Manager has the primary responsibility to drive profitable revenue growth by working closely with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Technology through portfolio and product lifecycle management. This individual will actively coordinate cross-functional teams to review and act on performance on a regular basis, manage regional activities with both regional and global groups, will play an instrumental role for new product launches and will ensure execution across multiple disciplines within the business. Primary Responsibilities Work closely with Procurement, Regulatory and Technology to review and drive improvement actions based on raw material trends. Manage the floor pricing Optimize product portfolio through product segmentation. Coordinate the Phase out of the "low touch products" : internally and externally Review the collateral data in terms of regional consistency Support manufacturing to optimize the assets loading. Coordinate at the regional level the process and Business case pre-work. Support Supply Chain to reduce slow moving inventory. Drive and support profitable revenue growth through regular profitability reviews with cross-functional teams. Generate, monitor and improve the effectiveness of the product monitoring tools and processes. Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved (SLO). Review and support growth opportunities and key projects for the business and articulates customer needs to the management team. Visit Beta customers with Technology or with the Sales team prior the commercialization of new products to validate the assumptions and critical needs. Support the regional launch of products Initiate data improvement activities and ensures proper data and opportunity management within CRM tool, including competitive intelligence. Process Creation, Documentation Document product management processes and workflows. Develop process documentation and field maps. Create new processes and associated reporting. Report And Dashboard Creation Create and maintain product dashboards Other Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Curious, with positive "Can-do" attitude Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications Ability to quickly learn and use specialized business software (Michelman business intelligence, sales and marketing software) Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Advanced business degree (MBA) is preferred. 5+ years in a product-related role, preferably in a highly technical field. Chemical industry experience preferred. Experience in product management, project management, or similar functions in technical industries.
