Description Summary of Position: Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor & Director of Facilities, this position maintains the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Facilities. Job Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma/GED. Any additional certifications/trainings adherent to position preferred. Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance preferred Must protect and handle sensitive and confidential material and situations. Safeguard documents and projects and maintain the utmost confidentiality. Must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner while gathering and analyzing information skillfully. Must provide strong customer service. Must prioritize and plan work activities effectively, using time efficiently. Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality and applying feedback to improve performance. Must adapt to changes in work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Individual is consistently at work and on time and solicits feedback from management to improve performance. Must observe safety and security procedures and uses company equipment and materials properly. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift/carry 50-75 pounds. Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching. Requires climbing and balancing. Position requires some outdoor work in various environmental conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, etc.) Essential Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned. Responsible for basic plumbing Perform various types of electrical maintenance and repair Perform a variety of routine maintenance and repair on a timely basis Work within expense limits established. Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Carry pager/cell phone as required for on-call maintenance. Responsible for alerting the Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Facilities of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines. Secondary Job Responsibilities: Participate in process/quality improvement activities of the company. Keep required trainings current. Perform other job duties as required. **This role requires that you are fully vaccinated for COVID19 per local, state and federal laws and regulations. A Religious or Medical exemption is available.
