We are open to hiring an entry level or experienced tech. The level hired in at will be based on experience. As a Quality Technician, you will: Coordinate, maintain, and compile quality information to generate quality reports; provide quality support for manufacturing operations; and conduct audits and provides feedback as base for measuring quality performance and identifying areas for improvement. Job Responsibilities Coordinates, compiles, and maintains quality information to generate reports for quality updates. These may include, but are not limited to, Non Conformance Notices (NCNs), Field Problem Reports (FPRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Ideas, Corrective Action Reports (CARs), Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs), Plant Audits, and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Daily/Weekly/Monthly Quality Reports. Selects and inspects products from receipt of raw materials (receiving inspection) to shipment of finished product (product audit), including lifting/moving of products weighing up to 50 pounds (i.e., files, chairs, gages). Conducts audits (receiving, in-process, and product) to measure conformance to specifications. Provides feedback to members responsible for corrective action to provide action to resolve quality issues. Participates as quality representative in data collection for special studies. Maintains control distribution lists for all controlled documentation within SBU, ensuring appropriate distribution of up-to-date information. Calibrates equipment based on previous training to ensure accuracy of measurements. Do you have these required qualifications? High School Diploma or GED 1 year of quality experience such as blueprint reading, shop math, use of basic metrology equipment and recording of quality data in a manufacturing setting Ability to lift/move product and material weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to spend significant time on production floor Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI Authorization to work in the United States Do you have these preferred qualifications? Ability to problem solve. Excellent PC and keyboard/mouse skills Quality, inspection, and auditing experience in a manufacturing setting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel E
