The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of DEZ Development LLC. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our financial decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and improve our accounting systems. Responsibilities: • Develop and oversee financial procedures and policies to ensure accurate financial reporting • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making • Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize financial performance • Supervise accounting team and provide guidance on complex financial issues Qualifications: • 3+ years of accounting experience • Experience in the real estate industry • Proficiency with US Work Authorization laws • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation: $31 - $38 hourly • Develop and oversee financial procedures and policies to ensure accurate financial reporting • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making • Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize financial performance • Supervise accounting team and provide guidance on complex financial issues
