Job Description: Major responsibilities are listed but not limited to the following duties: Design and Calculation: Calculate and design conduit and cable routes, develop detailed electrical schematics and layouts, and modify and revise designs. Testing and Commissioning: Conduct electrical tests for Current Transformers (CTs) and Potential Transformers (PTs) and Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Equipment Selection: Select appropriate electrical equipment such as Motor Control Centers (MCCs), breakers, and other components, Evaluate and recommend equipment based on project requirements and specifications, and Selection of instruments such as RTDs, pressure/level transducers, thermal relays, and others. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders and Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope. Competencies: Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, Proficiency in using design software such as Electrical AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools, Able to read and interpret basic electrical and hydraulic schematic, and Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NEMA, NETA, and other industry codes. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues and Analytical skills to assess and optimize electrical systems. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in design and calculations and Meticulous in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical design and engineering.
