Hartwig currently has a full-time opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in our St. Louis office. This position performs accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate naturally demonstrates professionalism with a proactive ability to build long-term relationships with team members and vendors. In addition to the standard Accounts Payable responsibilities, this person will also handle the following: Regularly scheduled check runs Sales tax exemption certificates to vendors Quarterly and annual use tax reporting Maintenance of W-9 files for vendors 1099 submission to the IRS Review and approval of employee expense reports Assistance in running reports, reviewing and balancing accounts for month-end closings To join the Hartwig team you should meet the following qualifications: Associates Degree in accounting preferred 3 to 5 years accounts payable and general accounting experience required Demonstrates numerical, problem solving and decision making ability Proficient use of accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics GP helpful Experience with Accounts Payable Automation software a plus Strong understanding of use tax filing and regulations helpful Excellent attention to detail and follow through Proficient in Microsoft Excel Time management, strong organizational skills, positive customer service attitude, and strong verbal and written communications skills required Ability to adapt to changing priorities Hartwig Perks and Benefits: Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Health Benefits Package Company-Paid Life Insurance Company-Paid Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability 401(k) with Company Matching Program Personal Financial Advisor Accrued Time Off with Paid Holidays Training Program(s) Hartwig is an equal opportunity employer.
