Summary: Leads a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and developers to transform The MetroHealth System's (MHS) raw data assets into valuable business intelligence. Plans and executes the use, care, and expansion of MHS's Business Intelligence (BI) environments. Manages the creation, maintenance and governance of fit-for-purpose data structures including data warehouses, data marts, and other data sources to produce analyses that will guide the future trajectory of MHS. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, business analytics, information systems, or other analytically rigorous discipline In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader. Proficiency developing effective analytic content with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire or similar data visualization tool Proficiency in one or more SQL variants (e.g. T-SQL, PL/SQL, PostGreSQL) Experience with data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) techniques Experience with Microsoft SQL Server data tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Experience deploying and managing business intelligence services Proficiency programming in HTML, .NET, C#, or CSS Knowledge of database design and data warehouse implementation Superior written and verbal communication skills Ability to successfully adapt to changing requirements and make progress under conditions of uncertainty Preferred: Advanced degree (MA/MS/MBA, PhD) degree in business, computer science, business analytics, information systems, or other analytically rigorous discipline Proficiency working with the Tableau suite (Desktop and Server) Expertise programming in HTML, .NET, C#, or CSS Expertise in one or more SQL variants (e.g. T-SQL, PL/SQL, PostGreSQL) Proficiency with data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) tools and techniques Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server data tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Demonstrated proficiency designing databases and implementing data warehouses Knowledge of healthcare processes and information systems Knowledge of business process fundamentals, including finance, accounting, human resources, strategy, etc.
