Job Purpose The loan officer assistant plays an important role in the organization by performing, under direct supervision, several activities related to assisting loan officers build complete loan files for submission. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor key dates related to loan transactions and respond accordingly Manage information entered in client and referral partner databases Enter data into loan origination system (Reverse Vision) Pull loan application forms and disclosure documents from the internal system Send loan application forms, disclosures agreements, and other supporting documentation to customers for completion and signature; manage the collection of completed documents accordingly Update system on a timely basis when applicable transaction changes occur Prepare systems and loan files for submission to the processing and/or underwriting departments. Request necessary paperwork, including title work, escrow and appraisal documents, and social security verifications Obtain conditions during processing and underwriting Provide marketing support by coordinating, creating, tracking, and distributing advertising materials as needed May provide clerical and administrative support as needed Other duties as assigned by Area Manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required One to two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field Administrative support experience a plus Spanish verbal and written skills a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel required Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills Ethical, with a commitment to company values
