Position Summary: IEM is looking for a Full Time - Rebate Processing and Quality Control Analyst - who will be responsible for reviewing applications, approving qualifying rebates, tracking issued rebate coupons, processing coupon redemptions for payment, and conducting quality control activities to ensure program compliance. This role also requires documenting progress in a system of record and communicating with other functional areas as required by operating procedures with limited supervision. A Rebate Processing and Quality Control Analyst will have and maintain a complete understanding of all applicable program policies, procedures, and requirements within the guidelines established to follow program compliance. May also provide support with day-to-day project management activities for quality control, which may include supplementary responsibilities relative to the program and its needs. Candidate must be attentive to detail, understand program policies, analytical, and possess good written and interpersonal communication skills. The program requires strict compliance with federal and state regulations and program policy. Primary Location: Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States, you will work remotely from home or personal office location. All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 MS or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed. Travel Requirements: None Currently Essential Functions: Carefully review all rebate applications for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with program guidelines. Input applicant and project details into rebate tracking database. Track application status from intake to final determination. Approve eligible applications by issuing rebate coupons and updating applicant and project records. Receive redeemed rebate coupons from contractors, review invoices/receipts for compliance, and process payments via approved methods. Track coupon issuance, use, expiration and payment; flag any discrepancies or incomplete documentation for follow-up. Generate reports on rebate and payment volumes, inspection/audit results. Escalate policy non-compliance issues as needed. Provide customer service assisting applicants, contractors and auditors with the application process and program guidelines. Maintain highly confidential applicant and client financial records securely per privacy requirements. Work closely with auditing team on fraud investigations as needed. Serve as liaison to law enforcement on cases. Understand program needs, policy, departmental process flows, and standard operating procedures. Continuously identify process improvements to maximize accuracy, accountability, and customer experience. Contribute to team success with effective communication and sound decision making. Respond to questions and requests professionally and in a timely manner. Other remote duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's OR associate's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered. Two (2) years' experience in rebate/incentive programs - preferably rebates and incentives related to home energy efficiency, appliances, or home electrification. Ability to exercise impartial, unbiased professional care when reviewing case files. Including the capability of the highest level of professional objectivity for gathering, evaluating, and communicating information. Two (2) or more years of experience providing high level review of documentation and strong analytical skills. Ability to perform tasks within a fast-paced environment and limited supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and collaboration with team members. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with energy policy, materials, and processes. MS Office and Adobe Reader Understanding the importance and handling of personally identifiable information.
