Are you a Bank Secrecy Act Analyst looking for the next step in your career? Join this dynamic, fun team in a Senior Analyst role - open due to internal growth. Utilizing anti money laundering software, you will ensure Metro Credit Union complies with FinCEN Regulations, USA Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and other federal programs related to suspicious activity. Answer escalation inquiries and collaborate regularly with other departments. Work with management to ensure all necessary procedures and reference documents are available. Essential Duties: Train new team members. Lead small projects related to system or process changes and enhancements. Continuously monitor and update Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs ) and reference documents related to llaborate with management when necessary for creation of new SOPs and reference documents. Manage the Currency Transaction Report ( CTR ) workflow within the automated compliance management system to ensure regulatory deadlines are met. Submit Suspicious Activity Reports ( SAR ) as required by FinCEN regulations using the credit union's compliance monitoring systems. Reconcile reports to ensure adherence to established procedures and regulatory compliance requirements. Inform employees to correct and/or collect missing or incomplete information as required by regulation. Review and acknowledge several types of alerts using anti money laundering software. Document Know Your Customer ( KYC ) data for regulatory compliance. Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence ( EDD ) and behavior reviews for regulatory compliance. Engage with other departments to investigate suspicious activity and/or fraud. Requirements: Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Skills/Knowledge/Certifications BSA Certification and/or Certified Anti-Money Laundering ( CAM ) certification preferred. Strong understanding of compliance and regulations related to departmental duties such as Chapter X, the USA Patriot Act and the FFIEC BSA/AML Examination Manual. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to perform work with accuracy and diligence. Demonstrated time management skills with an ability to work independently but also be a team player. Effective verbal and written communication skills a must. Ability to present information in a clear and easily understood manner. Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment, showing flexibility for changing priorities. Work Environment: Position is eligible for Hybrid Work Agreement: minimum of 3 days/week in office. (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and another day to be worked out within department). Position is eligible for Compressed Work Agreement (4x10) - all four days must be on-site in Chelsea.
