Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and train the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support as needed. Oversee the daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections. Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow. Manage customer accounts, resolve billing disputes, and negotiate payment terms when necessary. Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and collection forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing. Maintain and update customer account information in the financial system. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in month-end closing processes and assist with financial audits. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounts receivable function. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Required Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the industry-specific to the hiring company. Knowledge of credit risk assessment and management. Position Details : Monday - Friday, Full-Time, with potential for overtime. Onsite at our Home Office location.
