The Production Specialist is someone who supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in various cross-functional areas, including production planning and control, quality, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. Facilitates self-directed work teams, provides training in core skills areas to teams and peers, and interacts with internal and external customers concerning product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Identify and participate in continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate also has specialized knowledge of the particular areas, systems, or equipment. Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. Responds to customer inquiries (internal and external). May research information to follow up with inquiries. Work is semi-routine in nature but may involve some non-routine issues. Some evaluation, originality, or ingenuity is required. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions. Key Roles & Responsibilities Set up and operate equipment and processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and pilot protocols, as needed. May coordinate production scheduling activities. Monitors process order reports and performs the appropriate inventory management actions needed to accurately maintain the database and production work in process. Administers the process for inputting, updating, and monitoring critical production data. Investigates production issues and provides resolution. Develops and manages documentation changes through the edit, review, and approval process. Coordinates the process order documentation review and reconciliation process to ensure all documents are processed and filed in a timely manner. Identifies drives and implements continuous improvement activities, stressing safety, quality, quantity, and cost. Who you are: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma with 3 years related experience, Associate's Degree with 1-year related experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field Specialized training or certification in a particular area, system, or equipment Preferred qualifications: Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated effective communication skills Ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to apply basic Lean Manufacturing methodology Must be available to work Sunday (10:30 pm - 7 am), Monday - Thursday (10:30 pm - 7 am) Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. Pay transparency The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of ADD LOCATION is 42,800.00 - 61,200.00 - 79,600.00 USD Annual.. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
