Overview As a strategic account manager, you will communicate the PCONA value proposition Why Panasonic through engaging presentations and conversational meetings vs. leading with hardware while developing/facilitating executive level customer relationships and creates opportunities with strategic accounts. This role will specialize in the Enterprise space. Focus vertical markets are Food service, retail, C-store, grocery, transportation. Responsibilities What You'll Get to Do: You will engage and leverage relationships with internal resources and industry partners to create opportunities to further drive solution-based sales throughout the Enterprise sub verticals. You will manage programs from initiation through delivery, interfacing with the customer and company resources on technical and business issues. You will provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports along with updating Sales Opportunities in Sales Force to support the Tam's with forecasting. Within the accounts you will build long term pipeline and expand your relationships deep and wide within the organization/agency by introducing PCONA products, third party products and services into the accounts. You will analyze and understand the customer strategy, future product plans and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities along with leading the planning, design and implementation of customer specific business plans including managing and providing support for the account. Establishes, communicates, and holds direct and matrix team accountability for contract terms, program budgets, schedules, operational activities, and performance metrics to drive profitability and customer satisfaction awareness & demand for our products. The role will be vertically aligned with the Panasonic Epic sales team and leadership to drive incremental pipeline growth and revenue attainment. Market and Solutions Development Develop and implement a strategic business plan in alignment with the key Enterprise accounts to effectively support and grow Panasonic's market share. Understand the IT Landscape and trends in the Enterprise market in order to identify, develop and market new solutions to drive revenue in the current fiscal year as well as help the sales teams grow their long-term pipeline. Collaborate with ISV, Integrator, Product Management, Other Panasonic Connect divisions and Services to identify, evaluate, recruit, build and capitalize upon appropriate partnerships with strategic partners and solution providers. Work with industry customers and sales team members to identify, prioritize, and build business cases for new product and/or feature development. Subject Matter Expertise Serve as the subject matter expert within the Enterprise vertical and interface as such with the different stakeholders within the organization. Including sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and factory. Collect, analyze, and disseminate key market news, customer data, product trends, and competitive information in order to educate and provide market readiness to the Utility sales team and its channel partners. Serve as the voice of PCONA for EPIC in public relations and media opportunities to build market awareness and position Panasonic as a Thought Leader. Promote mobility solutions offerings within the Epic sales team and reseller channel through presentations, training sessions, and speaking engagements. Identify and actively engage in appropriate associations/boards/etc. to position Panasonic in the given market. What You'll Bring: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field required. Advanced degree a plus Individual comes with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Enterprise space. A proven ability to identify, develop and maintain strategic partnerships A proven track record of working independently as part of a larger team Understanding of the value of rugged mobility is a plus Communications: Outstanding written and oral communication skills Experience presenting to groups Experience in public speaking and engaging with industry analysts Proficient in business tools such as Powerpoint, Excel etc Other Requirements: Position requires 75% travel and must show history of this level of travel in past experiences. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
