PROGRAM MANAGER Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Kingston Family Health Center - Kingston, NY Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage Negligible Job Category Health Care Description The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing grant-funded projects from inception through completion, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within scope. This role requires a highly organized and results-driven individual with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Program Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects align with organizational goals and objectives. A key component of this role is fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals and ensuring projects are developed with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is a grant-funded position,and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funds and successful performance. RESPONSIBILITIES: LGBTQIA+ Equity Focus: Ensure that all projects incorporate LGBTQIA+ equity principles and comply with relevant guidelines. Drive inclusivity by integrating diverse perspectives into the project lifecycle. Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Track progress to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Team Leadership: Lead project teams through effective communication, collaboration, and management of responsibilities. Facilitate meetings to ensure alignment on goals and priorities. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Provide regular updates on project progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. External Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong external partnerships with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with these partners to enhance project impact, secure additional resources, and ensure alignment with broader goals related to LGBTQIA+ equity and inclusion. Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively. Develop and implement mitigation plans to ensure project objectives are achieved. Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet the agreed quality standards and project specifications. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project milestones, tasks, decisions, and communication. Provide clear and concise project reports to senior management and stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field required, Master's preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Program management, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. Computer literacy with Windows-based operating systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong understanding of the specific challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals and best practices for fostering equity and inclusion. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to success. Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at any time Ability to generate, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources Bilingual, preferred.
