About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oculoplastic ScribeTech 1 to join our team in Hawthorne. As an Oculoplastic ScribeTech 1, you will be responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters and assisting the oculoplastic surgeon in the clinic. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic, and will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field Experience working in a clinical setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a medical scribe Experience working in ophthalmology or plastic surgery Familiarity with electronic medical record systems Experience with minor surgical procedures Ability to speak Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the community Responsibilities: Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system Assist the oculoplastic surgeon in the clinic Prepare patients for examination and minor procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members Skills: As an Oculoplastic ScribeTech 1, you will use your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to accurately document patient encounters and assist the oculoplastic surgeon in the clinic. You will also use your multitasking abilities to prepare patients for examination and minor procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your experience working in a clinical setting and familiarity with electronic medical record systems will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, your certification as a medical scribe and experience with minor surgical procedures will be highly valued. Finally, your ability to speak Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the community will be an asset in providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
