BUS DRIVER

Per Diem. Earn $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on your experience. Are you a fun-loving and engaging person who enjoys creating positive, enriching experiences for others? This position provides vital support by transporting our residents to planned events and activities and is essential in ensuring our older adults have safe and enjoyable adventures! Qualifications include a valid NYS CDL driver's license with Passenger (P) endorsement, insurability by Kendal at Ithaca insurance, passing a health physical upon hire and as required by NY DOT, adequate oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Physical demands include the ability to push and pull weights from 60 pounds to over 125 pounds and sit for long periods. Essential job duties include safely operating a bus with up to 30-passenger capacity, overseeing passenger safety, conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining the vehicle, and keeping all required documentation and time logs.
