About the team This role is a part of our Remote Infrastructure Management Team. Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application. What you will be doing Automating the Infrastructure Domain (Backup (Avamar, Netbackup) / Database (sql server OR Oracle ) Hands on with power shell/shell/python, good to have exposure to ansible automation. Good understanding of Agile Methodologies, Monitoring Tools like SCAPM ,OEM, Splunk etc Working in ITSM tools like Service Now, BMC, CA etc Knowledge on working Code Management like Git, GitOps, Bit Bucket Good to have knowledge on Infrastructure as a Code like Terraform, ARM (Azure Resource Manager), Cloud formation Knowledge on API(SOAP/REST) Good understanding in HTML/Java Scripts or any languages that helps for Web page developments is an added advantage Role responsibilities 1. Deploy and Manage Automation Release to PROD 2. Automation fixes and enhancement 3. Support Automation related issue 4. Data Analytics & Reporting for Automation What you bring: Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development. Proficient in PowerShell / Bash / Perl / Python Scripting with respect to Backup(Avamar, Netbackup) or Database(MS SQL or Oracle) or Datacenters Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc. Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources.
