Principle Duties: Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on our fleet of dry van and flatbed semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including preventative, warrantable, and accident-related repairs Inspect suspension, wheel-end, braking, and structural components to ensure compliance with company and DOT specifications Test equipment for performance issues and ensure all repairs meet quality standards Demonstrate self-motivation, punctuality, and a keen eagerness to learn and grow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work Experience: Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in the trailer repair industry Must possess required tooling applicable to repairs listed in the job description (main air tools will be provided) Achieve productivity of 85% or above and efficiency of 95% or above Benefits: Competitive benefits package through Blue Cross Blue Shield, including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Fidelity 401(k) plan Excellent pay Fun and supportive work environment Opportunities for career growth within the company If you are passionate about maintenance and ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply for the Tier 2 Trailer Technician position at Western Express, Inc.
