Job Description Manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. This position will focus primarily on supporting Oracle's GPU and storage racks. These products are vital to the company's success and act as the fuel for OCI's growth and expansion. You will work in a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic environment as part of a core team responsible for rapidly deploying leading edge technology to our customers. You will be a guardian of and champion for quality for the products you are assigned throughout their life cycle from NPI to mass production through to end of life. Take ownership for rack level quality throughout the manufacturing process. Work across multiple teams both internal and external to Oracle to develop comprehensive rack level manufacturing specifications. Translate specifications into clearly defined test requirements. Work closely with test engineering teams to validate test plans. Implement tests at various manufacturing sites. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of BOM structure and its business impact in managing various manufacturing levels from server (L10) to rack integration (L11). Detect, debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise in the manufacturing process. Manage all ECO cut-in / phase-in processes for the smooth integration of product changes. Proactively identify and report on quality trends and issues. Sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements. Be able to speak truth to power by taking a position and backing it up with facts and observations gleaned from experience. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred. Career Level - IC4 Responsibilities We are seeking a talented systems integration professional who can strengthen our capabilities and enable the transition of technology from a development environment to production manufacturing. The Oracle Product Engineer (PE) is a position within the Supply Chain Operations organization and is an important part of hardware manufacturing. PEs require a mix of hardware, firmware, software, and networking skills coupled with excellent technical management skills. The PE will lead the technical activities of Oracle hardware products from prototype builds through end of life. The PE is responsible for engaging with the development engineering team and transforming general specifications into specific requirements for manufacturing. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
