Position Overview International Motors is a leading North American truck manufacturer and member of the Traton SE group. International's Service Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally talented and results-oriented Supply Chain Associate Director to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in the transportation parts industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory planning and vendor relationships to ensure a smooth and cost-effective supply chain. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the supply chain Responsibilities Develop and execute supply chain strategies specific to International's Service Solutions supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products, optimize costs, and maintain high service levels. Lead forecasting and demand planning process, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and inventory optimization, to reduce costs and minimize shortages or overstock. Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs, including lead times, order accuracy, inventory turnover, fill rates, and transportation costs. Collaborate with the logistics and distribution operations teams to ensure on-time, efficient deliveries and processing of the right parts at the right locations. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with customer demand. Implement and maintain supply chain management systems to drive operational efficiency. Lead and mentor supply chain teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, supplier issues, or capacity constraints Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree At least 12 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 6 years of management experience OR Master's degree At least 10 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 6 years of management experience OR At least 14 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 6 years of management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Lead and mentor supply chain teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and innovation in forecasting and supply chain processes. Lead inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and safety stock optimization, using advanced forecasting models and statistical analytics to minimize costs and avoid shortages. Analytical thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets to improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency. Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. Negotiation and supplier management: Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers to align with forecasted needs while driving cost conscious decisions. Technical proficiency: Strong experience with forecasting systems and ERP software for supply chain management. Skills Preferred: Technical proficiency: Strong experience with PTC's Servigistics supply chain optimization software Process improvement: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance forecasting and overall supply chain processes.
