Manufacturing Project Engineer - Machine Building Reading, PA Our client is growing and now hiring a Manufacturing Project Engineer - Machine Building! Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Project Engineer - Machine Building You will review Requests for Quotes, machine drawings and propose machinery pricing, industrial process equipment pricing and automation build pricing along with anticipated machine build delivery dates. Match the RFQ to the actual quote and purchase orders and monitor the machine build paper travelers as they are issued to the shop floor to validate the accuracy. Serve as the liaison with engineering and purchasing validating the bills of materials required for each machine build. Be responsible for all documentation pertaining to each machine build including kick-off and run-off. Facilitate each project to be built on time working with the machine assemblers, the electrical controls engineers, buyers and others on the team. You will own project leadership as well as develop cost reductions. Requirements of the Manufacturing Project Engineer - Machine Building Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent in terms of degree or experience is required Understanding Excel spreadsheets in terms of costs, machine building pricing, bills of materials and P&L At least 3 years of full-time engineering experience working with automation projects is a very strong plus but not required Excellent benefits and growth potential! Compensation for the Manufacturing Project Engineer - Machine Building The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 depending on experience.
