Job Description Job Description Phoenix Cyber is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position with the possibility of minimal travel within the continental United States. Systems Engineer performs a variety of system engineering tasks which are broad in nature and are concerned with the administration of server and technical architecture. Provide Linux and Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Tier 2/3 support to government customers and other project team members Troubleshoot and debug server-based application(s) and/or IT infrastructure component(s) Perform tasks, including but not limited to, restarting systems, application upgrades, hardware maintenance, etc Ensure all necessary documentation to operate and maintain the equipment and/or software is regularly maintained Perform performance monitoring and provide documentation of issues and recommendations to upper management Maintain and patch systems, software and applications to eliminate bugs/defects, security vulnerabilities, and maintain technology currency of systems and applications to maintain or renew existing ATOs Participate in change management processes to include patch compliance and Information Assurance Validation Testing Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of system engineering/system administration experience in Red Hat Linux/Oracle Linux or Windows Server environment or six years of total IT experience and 3 years of system engineering/system administration experience in Red Hat Linux/ Oracle Linux and Windows server environment.
