Job Requisition: REQ3033 Employment Type: Full Tme Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hrs week Hiring Range: $83,699.20 -$108,804.80 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Educator: Develops and implements education for EMR specific training based on identified needs of the organization. Uses a variety of methodologies to incorporate adult learning principles for desired outcomes; training may occur in the classroom, online or in a clinical environment. Consultant: Collaborates as informatics specialist to committees and projects to apply informatics best practice principals such as: minimizing alert fatigue, promoting safety, preventing and eliminating bias, improving quality and protecting privacy. Responds to regulatory mandates and identified needs to promote quality patient care and safety. Change Agent: Responds to changes in operations, equipment and medical practice positively, identifying ways to leverage technology to achieve organizational missions, values, and goals to support those changes and promote a safe and healthy work environment. Test new software, hardware and processes and collaborates with clinical analysts and IT team to create workflows. Special Projeccts: Collaborates in special projects to support the organizational strategic plan. Participates in committees, task forces, and projects as assigned. Assist in the development and maintenance of downtime procedures. Education, Training & Experience: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of (5) five years of experience in a clinical discipline with working knowledge of computers and understanding of hospital information systems. This position requires advanced knowledge of MEDITECH and a basic understanding of MEDITECH clinical applications, preferably Expanse. Certifications/Licensure: Current NYS nursing license, BLS
