Learn more about us at ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities Customer Service, Sales, and Delivery Establish productive, professional relationships with new and existing customers. Call on potential new customers to build relationship. Complete sales transactions with new and existing customers to grow territory and increase sales and profit. Set and monitor customer routes for customer satisfaction and retention of customer base. Safely deliver customer product and monitored for safety, customer satisfaction, retention of customer base and increased sales and profit. Set customer pricing and monitor it for competitiveness, customer satisfaction and increased sales and profit. Establish sales targets and commission %'s for Route Sales to increase sales and profit of new and existing products Manage and monitor all bid processes for branch Product, Equipment and Service Provide hands-on technical support to solve customer problems and achieve customer satisfaction leading to retention of customer base. Install and service customer equipment to achieve customer satisfaction leading to retention of customer base. Complete inventory control procedures so that there is an accurate, real-time inventory record in the system. Operate Vehicle/truck Load and secure truck according to DOT standards. Operate/drive truck according to DOT standards. Maintain vehicle and sales equipment to ensure timely and safe delivery of customer product achieving customer satisfaction and retention of customer base. Manage staff and branch Train staff: Installation and service of new and existing equipment to achieve customer satisfaction and increased sales and profit of new and existing products. Sales techniques Customer service Safety DOT, vehicle, and operational compliance Product handling and compatibility Maintain appropriate staff levels needed to achieve sales targets for the Branch location. Hold regular performance reviews/discussions with staff to improve/manage job performance, and create knowledgeable, engaged, and productive employees. Hold monthly staff meetings to include review of sales targets, policy changes, and safety training. Manage Branch costs and expenses to decrease operational expenses. Maintain appropriate levels of inventory to meet customer demand, reduce operating expenses and increase inventory accuracy. Monitor customer pricing to set appropriate sales targets for assigned territory. Produce and submit Branch Reports to allow for detailed analysis of Branch territory objectives. Actively participate in professional association meetings/conferences when necessary. Review and/or revise business processes to increase efficiency and productivity and reduce operating expenses. Other Review and or revise business processes this position interacts with to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Provide warehouse support as needed. Follow all company safety procedures as well as all OSHA and DOT regulations ABOUT YOU Minimum of High School Diploma. Two years post high school education a plus. Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazardous materials, airbrakes, and tanker endorsements Good driving record with no recent alcohol/drug related traffic violations Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening Ability to lift over 50-pound bags regularly, 75 lbs. occasionally and move up to 700-pound drums Ability to regularly climb in and out of truck cab and onto and off of the truck gate Excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform math calculations to determine flow rates etc. Must pass company pre-employment drug screen. Self-motivated and hard-working individual Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to problem solve internal problems and customer issues and needs Available to regularly work a schedule that consists of 10-12-hour days and requires some overnight travel Physical Requirements: Very heavy work including exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly, 75 lbs. occasionally. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Ability to regularly climb in and out of truck cab and onto and off the truck gate Ability to safely operate a forklift and commercial vehicle that transports chemicals including hazardous chemicals. Ability to communicate via spoken word and hear at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Requires fine motor skills including the ability to grasp and work with tools. Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching. Ability to work in a variety of weather and environmental conditions. TRAVEL Up to 20% Ref All applications must be received online.
