Position Overview: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client, located in Zeeland, MI, 49464. Applicants will be considered for Associate Maintenance Technicians, General Maintenance Technicians, and Sr Maintenance Technicians level openings. Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. Compensation: Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $49,920 - $66,560, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role. Key Responsibilities: Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team. Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment. Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment. Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals. Minimize downtime due to equipment failure. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required. Working Conditions: Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs; frequently lift 20 lbs. Capable of standing on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours a day. Comfortable working in confined and elevated spaces, walking, climbing, using ladders, operating lifts, bending, and stooping. Proficient in repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling motions. Frequent engagement in overhead tasks. Adaptable to varying temperatures inside the plant, ranging from -25°F to over 100°F; outdoor work may also be required.
