Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham's charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer. The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel premises, including associates, guests, company property, and assets. This position is a full time extended seasonal position. Duties include providing customer service, documenting incidents, assisting with general hotel operations, conducting surveillance, patrolling the property, controlling intoxicated guests, and providing transportation for employees as needed. Additional duties include. Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, including associates, guests, company property, and assets. Provide basic customer service and courtesies to enhance guests' stay. Document incidents involving guests and employees as required for safety and incident reporting. Assist other departments with general hotel operations, including crowd control, access to secured areas, and personnel escorts. Conduct surveillance to ensure the safety of all guests and employees. Regularly patrol the building, grounds, and parking areas of the hotel. Assist staff with controlling intoxicated guests. Provide safe and timely transportation for employees and guests when needed. Maintain daily reports and incident/accident reports as needed. Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Previous night auditor or Loss Prevention experience preferred Superior customer service skills Demonstrated leadership skills Ability to understand and carry out instructions Ability to multi-task Experience in Opera systems preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Night Audit Skills a plus Basic math and accounting skills necessary Excellent computer skills Ability to work independently Ability to work overnight hours - 11pm - 7am
