Overview As a Senior Market Risk Analyst, you will oversee and support the Risk function to cover power, gas, capacity, ancillary, transmission and renewable markets in various ISOs. Additionally, you will interact and build relationships with our external counterparties, exchanges, and our FCM. In this role, you will be involved with the following: Calculation of PL advanced analytics associated with options, PPA valuation, and structured deal valuation. Calculation of Potential Future exposure of the portfolio as well as a sub-set of existing, and future, Origination deals. Monitoring and reporting on the various traded and non-traded positions held by the company, daily calculation and reporting on PL and VaR, Monitoring and reporting on the risk limits; Development of new risk reporting templates and functionality fit for new business requirements, including testing, and documentation To be successful in this role, you are likely to have the following skills/experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a Pricing, Trading, Analytic, or Risk Role, preferably in US Retail Power or Commodities Bachelor's Degree desired, Master's preferred Options experience (intermediate to advanced) Advanced understanding of risk concepts such as volatility, correlation, and VaR Experience with performing VaR calculations Advanced Excel skill including lookups, pivot table, and database integration Database experience Intermediate to Advanced Programming experience (VBA, Python, SQL, etc.) Knowledge of ETRM systems and deal flow Intense attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness Strong communication skills and assertiveness Has vision and ability to problem solve independently Strong analysis backed by critical and strategic thinking skills Strong data analytics skills Passionate about our business Diversity Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to what we do.
