School Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a private, non-profit agency and is regarded as a leader in providing education, residential programs and other services for individuals with disabilities. The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened the first group home in New York State for children and youth with significant behavior management needs.  Location: * 1st Location: 1000 Elmwood Avenue - preschool students - 3-5 years old  * 2nd Location: 1000 Elmwood Ave, 101 East Henrietta Road and 2617 East Ave (preschool and school age students - 3-21 years old). ***The float RN can go to all 3 campuses or someone who wants an office type job in Elmwood, checking in on students, injuries, schedules, etc.   ***students  Requirements: * At least 6 months of nursing experience * Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. * Personal passion or experience * Compassionate and caring  * Patience (especially at the Rush house)  * Initiative  * Team player (they are a very tight-knit family)  Hours: *  Monday-Friday * Can start between 7:30am and 8:15 am (Would work 7-8 hours a day, 35 0r 40 hours per week total - Candidate can decide) * No On-Call!
