Posting Summary Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Temporary Research Coordinator for the Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.The primary purpose of the Temporary Research Coordinator will be to work mostly at the CRC at the Child Health Institute and to communicate daily with the Principal Investigator on these projects. The work will consist of submitting and following up on new IRB applications or amendments of existing projects, recruiting study participants, scheduling study visits, obtaining informed consents for study participation and maintaining the necessary study the key duties of the position are the following: Submitting and following up on new IRB applications or amendments of existing projects, recruiting study participants, scheduling study visits. Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers' regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Ensures that the staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working with research participants with cognitive disabilities a plus. Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing. No special vision requirements. Ability to lift or exert force up to 25 lbs.
