Director of Early Learning Center Job ID: 14324 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary The Director of the Early Learning Center reports to the Executive Director of Finance and Auxiliary Services. This position has responsibility for direction and leadership of the Early Learning Center, maintaining the highest standards in early childhood education services. The employee occupying this position will utilize management principles and skills to work with supervisors, leads, and employees for the purpose of delivering effective services in support of the College's mission and values. The Director possesses a combination of education, training, and experience in early childhood care & education management and has specialized knowledge in early education, family support services, adult education, leadership of diverse organizations, and operations management. In this position there is a heavy emphasis on external and internal communications, engagement, training and support, and brand awareness. This role is responsible for serving as a thought partner to the Executive Director, managing a team of X people, and building internal and external relationships with the organization's constituencies when it comes to childcare and early education. This position requires knowledge of education, organizational change, systems-level and executive mindset, and demonstrated ability to assume responsibility and work effectively and gracefully under pressure while maintaining confidentiality. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $93,880/year - $136,126/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Typically, new hire starts no higher than $104,442/year based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule. We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, which means that you are not eligible for overtime pay.
