Demonstrating solid project management skills Being attentive to every detail Exercising critical thinking Solving problems Working well independently and with a team WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Developing new model assembly processes and assembly lines. Writing specifications for and sometimes designing and building automated assembly equipment / tooling. Installing and setting up new model assembly equipment and tooling. Making improvements to existing assembly processes and equipment. Troubleshooting automated assembly equipment. HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY: 4 year Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (equivalent work experience may be considered in place of a degree) Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with PLC programming. Demonstrate knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor. Automotive background preferred. Demonstrate oral and written communication skills. Proven analytical ability. Demonstrate prioritization ability. Proven multi-tasking skills. Able to bend frequently and lift 40lbs. These qualifications are preferred but not necessary for you to get started: Experience with CATIA software for 3D modeling. Experience in PLC programming. Experience in AC, DC and Servo motors. Experience in programming / teaching robots used for product assembly. Knowledge/experience in machine vision systems programming. Experience working with photo electric, proximity, laser and pressure sensors. Experience in equipment designing and building and integrating robotic systems.
