Job Description Overview: As the Lead Project Engineer you'll work with our client in cutting-edge Attachments, Rigging, Port & Intermodal Equipment. Job Responsibilities: Spearhead projects from conception to completion, ensuring key design deliverables are met. Coordinate deliverables, maintain budgets, measure team performance against KPIs, and provide weekly updates. Establish and manage project plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to align project objectives. Develop and maintain program budgets, including labor, material, and outsourcing costs. Oversee requirements definition for functionality and performance improvements. Communicate project status and requirements effectively across teams. Ensure adherence to the company's development process (LDP) and industry best practices. Drive continuous improvement and exceed customer expectations through innovative solutions. Requirements: Accredited engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Automotive, or Electrical disciplines. Minimum of 8 years of work experience in the relevant engineering discipline. Product development for material handling, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industry, and PMP or CPAM-PMI certification. Proven experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written). Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and general computer applications. Knowledge of machine design, operation, welding, and industry technological developments. Ability to participate in occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).
