Join us as a Quality Control Technician at our Columbus, OH plant. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Constantly audits work stations and inspects finished product Works in close cooperation with production personnel, under minimal supervision Identifies, dispositions, and escalates quality issues Works on containment and corrective actions Tests incoming raw materials Carries out periodic in-process checks Records and reports issues and test results, ensures records are accurate Participates in quality meetings Coaches production employees, acts as an example of quality focus Participates in periodic operator cross-trainings, and continuous improvement projects Executes other procedures as required Occasionally carries out field service repairs Responsible for maintenance of ISO 9001 relevant activities. Education and Work Experience: At least two years' work experience in a multi-shift production environment preferred Highschool Diploma equivalent preferred Skills and Other Requirements: Detail-oriented has a great eye for quality, enjoys finding and fixing issues Works well with others, able to positively influence co-workers Good problem-solving abilities, and hands-on technical skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) ideal Valid driver's license required Ability to travel to customer job sites up to 20% of the time Capability to work a rotating shift schedule Ability to work at heights Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
